Corporations & Foundations

In addition to the gifts of alumni and friends of the college, Lawrence University receives very generous support from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. These organizations recognize that an investment in Lawrence’s unique and exceptional liberal arts programs is an investment in the transformation of students and, ultimately, the transformation of local and global communities.

Lawrence’s Corporate, Foundation, and Sponsored Research department serves as a conduit for these institutions to partner with Lawrence, facilitating the exchange of ideas and resources. We do this by:

• Matching the philanthropic goals of corporate, foundation, and government organizations with the objectives of the Lawrence campus.
• Fostering relationships between Lawrence faculty and staff, and our corporate and foundation partners.
• Ensuring that all grant proposals meet the highest standards.
• Coordinating Lawrence resources and expertise to meet the needs of the community.
