The Lawrence-Downer Legacy Circle
The Lawrence-Downer Legacy Circle recognizes those who are making a
commitment to the continued traditions and excellence at Lawrence,
donors who support Lawrence through planned giving options. Gifts may be
channeled to specific areas within the college or left to be used where
needed most. Legacy Circle giving options include:
- Bequests
- Living Trusts
- Charitable Gift Annuities
- Real Estate
- Life Insurance
If you plan to make a charitable gift to Lawrence University through
your will, please let us know. We would like the opportunity to thank
you for your generosity. Those who have made such commitment and have
informed the Office of Major and Planned Giving of that arrangement
automatically become members of the Legacy Circle.
Recognition of your gift can encourage others to do the same, however,
if you prefer to remain anonymous your gift will be kept completely
confidential. (We will not recognize your gift without your permission.)
Whatever the case, we will honor your wishes, because your support means
so much to Lawrence.
Legacy Circle gifts allow alumni and friends to avoid estate and
inheritance taxes while retaining lifetime use of their assets. These
commitments have been and will continue to be a significant element in
Lawrence University’s continued success.
