Major Gifts
Lawrence has always been fortunate to have the support of donors whose generosity is at a level for it to be
considered a “major gift.” Major gifts are generally given with the stipulation that they be used by the
university to achieve a major goal.
A number of opportunities exist for establishing named endowed funds as a means of
recognizing a donor’s generosity to Lawrence. Minimum thresholds for named endowed funds are listed below.
(There is no minimum threshold for gifts to add to existing endowed funds.)
